In 1997, the Tommasi family bought a property in Pitgliano, giving rise to the "Tuscany" project: POGGIO AL TUFO. This is the first estate of the Tommasi family outside the Valpolicella Classica. Sangiovese and cabernet sauvignon are two strains of different origins, but in Tuscany often find a happy marriage, as you can see after a few sips of this Rompicollo, from which a strong personality and sophistication emerge. The grapes are carefully selected so that they represent only the best terroir characteristics, the wine is slowly aged for a year in oak barrels before they are bottled. The label, which shines with the magic of the Tuscan Maremma, was created by the master in tribute to Tuscany.
