Rioja is the most famous wine region in Spain, located in its northern part on the pilgrimage route to Santiago del Compostela. The first grapevines in this area were planted by the Romans as early as in the second century BC. The popularity of the Tempranillo strain and the very good results obtained during the production of wines meant that the variety spread to the whole of Spain and different regions took on different names such as Tinta del País, Aragonés, Cencibel, Ull de Llebre, Tinto Fino and Tinta de Toro.
Structural and well-arranged wine, with aromas and flavors of ripe raspberries and juicy strawberries and cherries, with notes of vanilla and a velvety structure of tannins. Recommended for light meat and vegetable tapas, roast poultry, pork sirloin.
