Primitivo has been traditionally grown since the 18th century in Apulia. An interesting fact is that in Croatia, where it comes from, it is Crljenak Kaštelanski, and in the USA Zinfandel. Bushes grow quite lush, and they like the hot climate the most. The grapes are large and compact, and the fruit skin is thin. Currently, it is one of the most popular varieties on the Polish market
Mandus is an intensely dark-purple, complex wine, rich in aromas of cherries in chocolate, plum and tobacco. The mouth is full, soft with noticeable notes of coffee, cocoa and vanilla. Perfect for grilled red meats and hard ripening cheeses.
