Since the purchase of the Château des Laurets in 2003, Baron Benjamin de Rothschild wanted to reveal the quintessence of this estate by making a section of the best Merlot plots. The grapes are picked and sorted by hand, and then fermented with all care and attention.
This rare wine, produced exclusively in the best vintages, reflects the entire quality of the wonderful Saint-Emilion made mainly from the Merlot strain - a subtle combination of elegance and character. This wine was created to survive and grow over time.
