The grapes come from a small, young vineyard. Unlike the "big brother," Bastia Chardonnay, which has been produced since the 1980s and matured in oak for 12 months, Prinsipi does not grow in barrels, but in a steel tank for 3 months.
In 2017, the Manzoni Bianco variety was added to Chardonnay, which is a hybrid of Riesling and Pinot Bianco. Thanks to this, the freshness of the chardonnay was intense and fruitful. The wine has a beautiful, sun-yellow color with green reflections. In the mouth, initially spicy, definitely fresh with a good acid balance and perfect length. Perfect as an aperitif, ideally suited for Piedmontese snacks, cold meats and cheeses. It also works well with sea food.
