Vetiver (fragrant vetiver) is a species of extremely aromatic grass originating from Southeast Asia, and is widespread in the tropics. It is used for the production of essential oils used in the perfumery industry. Verdejo is an endemic wine variety from the DO Rueda region, located in the central-northern part of Spain, between the regions of Toro and Ribera del Duero. It has everything to enchant the senses with its crispness, complexity of aromas and unsurpassed acidity.
The producer of this wine is awarded annually for his wines at international prestigious competitions, the family-run artistic Bodegas Ontańon, which has its vineyards in the regions of Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Rueda.
It is an extremely aromatic and elegant white wine, dominated by ripe juicy fruits, white flowers, herbs and anise. The wine is fresh, smooth and slightly sweet at the beginning, with a long, soft finish and acidity, which creates a beautiful balance with the richness of the fruit.

It is recommended for white tapas, fatty fish, poultry, baked white meats and goat and sheep cheeses.
