The first vineyards in the Maule Valley, located 250 kilometers south of the capital Chile - Santiago, were founded at the end of the sixteenth century by the first colonizers arrived in these areas from Spain. The Maule Valley is one of the most important Chilean wine producing regions, defined by the local appeal system and the legally protected name of the place of origin and viticulture. It is one of the largest wine-growing regions in Chile and is also one of the oldest and most diverse valleys in the country. Sauvignon Blanc is the second, alongside Chardonnay, in terms of the size of the cultivation of the white grape variety strain, which due to the possibility for winegrowers to choose different microclimates gives surprisingly different results.
The wine is produced by the heirs of the Italian family of winemakers - Casanova, who came to Chile at the end of the 19th century. Wines with the Hugo Casanova label are characterized by unusual finesse, elegance and unique balance between all the most important elements of each of them.
In this wine we find the aromas of freshly cut grass, green vegetables and minerals, and in the mouth ripe citruses, interwoven with fresh herbs. Recommended primarily for fish and seafood, sushi and goat cheese.
