This Cuvée is the flagship of the vineyard Veuve Doussot, which has been around for over a century. Full name Champagne Veuve Doussot Cuvée Guy Joly Mémory refers to the creator of the vineyard Stéphane Joly.
Cuvée made of 40% Pinot Noir, which is a solid construction, and 60% Chardonnay, which reflect their delicacy and elegance. The grapes come from 25-year-old grapevines in Kimmeridge, where the clay and limestone soils are perfect for Pinot Noir, and the wine is complemented by the wonderfully fresh and floral taste of Chardonnay. Together, these classic grapes form a wine with a rich combination of dried fruit, floral aromas and exotic spices. The rich multi-layered structure of the wine is the product of an intensive aging process, spends 7 years in the vineyard's cellars. The wine is perfect as an aperitif and also fits crustaceans and fish.
