In November 2003, Baron Benjamin de Rothschild, bought a new estate, the Castle Laurets. The area consists of a beautiful building from 1860 and an associated vineyard with an area of 86 ha, located in two sub-regions of Saint Emilion: Puisseguin Saint-Emilion and Montagne Saint-Emilion. 45 hectares located in Montagne Saint-Emilion are intended for the production of Chateau Malengin wine.
Extremely balanced wine with a deep, light purple color, with a strong and complex palette of aromas of ripe black fruit, elegant oak. Present spicy tannins, on the palate gives a feeling of fleshiness, warmth. Recommended for grilled meats, meat dishes in sauces, mixed cheeses.
