The grapes used for the production of this wine come from the mountainside on which the picturesque town of San Gimignano is located. San Gimignano called colloquially "Manhattan of the Middle Ages" due to the high ancient towers set by wealthy merchants. You can see them from a very long distance. Vernaccia is a very nice wine with a straw yellow color. Narrow citrus and flower flavors in the nose. Mildly mineral in mouth with slightly bitter aftertaste. Recommended for freshwater fish, poultry and vegetables.
